JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Role:  Senior Events Producer

Purpose: To plan, manage and deliver events of medium / large  corporate conferences to private parties

Location: Notting Hill, London

Basis: Permanent

Salary: £36k-£40k (depending on experience)

Our client is currently seeking a Positive, Hardworking and Experienced Senior Events Producer to join their Award-Winning Events Agency.

An International Organisation who spans across the globe in a variety of different industries including Tech, HR and Retail. Our client prides themselves on their culture and team focused environment, offering limitless progression opportunities!

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful execution of events from brief through to reconciliation 

  • Management of team working on your events to ensure successful delivery (event, design, venue sourcing, talent, marketing teams)

  • Responsible for time management across the team on a project basis

  • Enforcing company processes and procedures

  • Responsible for budget management and keeping profit up to date on Procim

  • Line manage Associate Producers

  • Profit management upselling services where possible 

  • Client relationship management

  • Support Senior Producers on large scale events

 

Further responsibilities include:

  • Taking event briefs working closely with Account Managers

  • Training new starters

  • Reviewing direct reports

  • Ensure projects are managed to timescales and filed correctly

  • Work collaboratively across departments 

  • Venue and supplier briefing and management 

  • Contract management 

  • Strong negotiation skills 

  • Confident briefing internal teams and external suppliers

  • Tracking payments in and out to ensure positive cash flow

  • Technical management

  • Producing event flow documents

  • Site surveying

  • Promoting the company culture 

  • Onsite management

  • Travel management

  • Budget reconciliation 

  • Post event client comms

  • Manage development of any post event videos

  • Sponsor management

  • Risk management 

  • Write up case study working with Sales and Business Development Manager 

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 4 years’ experience within the events industry is essential

  • Excellent communication skills are essential

  • Strong negotiation Skills

  • Enjoy leading and working within a team

  • Willingness to travel; UK, Europe, USA

  • Have a work hard, play hard mentality and not to be afraid to roll up your sleeves, support the team and get stuck in
