A fantastic temporary opportunity has arisen within this reputable professional body in Oxford for a highly motivated ID Administration Officer.

The purpose of this role is to facilitate and process verification checks for applicants to register.

Duties will include:

  • Act as first point of contact for all international application
  • Complete face to face ID verification checks
  • Ensure high standards and attention to detail by conducting credential and ID checks
  • Use appropriate questioning/investigation techniques to probe apparent anomalies/queries
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of ID fraud and developments in this area
  • Complete checking of applications to ensure requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers of software and hardware relating to ID checks
  • Write standard and non-standard letters, emails to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage difficult conversations in a professional manner     

Person specification

  • Proven experience within a similar role with an emphasis on investigative/compliance duties
  • Experience of working within a customer focused environment
  • Administration experience
  • Highly developed ability to pay close attention to detail so that work produced is reliable and accurate first time
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with difficult and distressed customers
  • Able to identify problems and find practical solutions
  • Self-starter who can work with minimum supervision

This is a 3 month position to start immediately with the potential of extension to Feb 2022
