My client, a Canadian-born business founded over 40 years ago and have become a global organisation that now spans 120 locations across 20 countries are looking for an internal events executive to join their growing UK communications team. This is a new and exciting position within the Communications team, the right candidate will be proactive and positive with a passion for all things events and internal engagement. Main duties and responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager, this is a rounded role where you’ll be working with and gaining experience across our service line and operational teams. Focusing on our London offices, you ’ll be e engaging with internal stakeholders on a daily basis. You’re likely spend your time -

  • Working with a network of national contacts and stakeholders to deliver all internal engagement events, from presentations and socials, to annual conferences and webinars
  • Supporting the running of both physical and digital events including the management of invitations and registrations, coordination on the day and follow up communications
  • Establishing best practices and b uilding event toolkits to empower local delivery and brand Alignment
  • Managing budgets and third-party suppliers to support on-site delivery
  • Capturing and reporting engagement, feedback, and attendance to inform our future internal events and engagement strategy
  • Managing the internal events calendar From a clear brief and base information, craft compelling mailings and event invitation s and using internal channels to promote

Desired skills and experience

  • 2+ years of day-to-day experience working in events
  • Working knowledge of implementing campaign activities through multiple channels
  • Self-confident in communicating with your stakeholders, keeping them updated throughout the planning process
  • Ability to set goals and work to deadlines
  • A passion for organisation and planning, with the ability to effectively self-manage priorities
  • Expert skills using Microsoft Office , including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams
  • Adobe Rush / Premiere Pro experience would be advantageous but not essential
